A weekend break in December was fantastic at this hotel. A family of 9 across three rooms, was made extremely welcome by the exceptional level of friendly service across the hotel and health club. A 4 star hotell but, I genuinely believe that the friendliness and helpfullnrss of the team here alone make this feel like 5 star. Everyone, from the check-in team, to bar staff and duty manger to the pool guy. Itl all made for an excellent weekend celebrating a big family birthday. I will definitely be returning.
We enjoyed a weekend break here. Redworth Hall is beautiful with some great history. The spa and gym was good although we didn't have a treatment as they seem to book up fast. Our room was a great size and had a lovely view. The staff were all lovely, friendly, polite and professional. Great location, we travelled from Leeds to visit. Great place to stay when travelling to Beamish for the day as it was only a 40 minute drive away. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The evening meal menu has a great selection and everything was very nice. We have already recommended this hotel and have family visiting for a stay this weekend. Would definitely return
We had an amazing experience at Redworth Hall Hotel! The spa was absolutely wonderful, the massage was incredibly relaxing, and the afternoon tea was delicious. The buffet breakfast had so much choice and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning!
We had a lovely relaxing stay here in beautiful surroundings. The room was spacious and comfortable with both a multi-jet shower and a spa bath in the en suite. The food was lovely and tasty and the cocktails were amazing. Breakfast had a really good selection and was a relaxed experience. The staff were all friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately due to me being unwell, we weren't able to take advantage of the spa facilities but they looked really good. Parking wasn't an issue as there was plenty of space. Highly recommended 10/10
Beautiful setting, great staff, nice food. We stayed in the old house which had real charm, if a little tired. Highly recommend. Good location for Durham and Raby castle.
We got married here in August 25 and it was perfect. From preparations to the wedding day the hotel staff were very helpful. Jenna even assisted us with finding a photographer, Dj and decorators. And on the day Kim was amazing. We stayed there a few times before the wedding and we knew this was our venue! We look back at our pictures and everything was perfect and we know we wouldn't have done it if the venue staff did not assist us the way they did. Definitely recommend!
We were married at Redworth Hall on December 20th 2025 and it was everything we hoped for and more! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff could not do enough for us and are so professional. The day and night ran smoothly and it was such a magical and special day for ourselves and all of our loved ones. We can't wait to come back to celebrate anniversaries. The decor and food are first class and this time of year with the Christmas trees, lights and open fires was especially beautiful, thank you so much!
Gorgeous big old house set in lovely grounds. Very impressive as you drive up to the hotel. Check in was very smooth and welcoming. Room was beautiful and had everything you needed, beds very comfortable. We had lunch, very nice, only had sandwiches but they were delicious. We were booked in for a spa treatment and the use of the facilities, pool etc. Spa treatment was so relaxing. We were unable to use the pool and sauna etc as it was full to capacity! We went at half term, never gave it a thought when booking, so avoiding school holidays is a must next time, purely on how busy everything was. We managed to get poolside at 5.30, so not long as we were booked in for an evening meal, which was delicious and the staff very nice. We went to the bar area afterwards and that was lovely too, staff were so lovely. Breakfast next morning was again, delicious. We enjoy our stays here, we come once a year, a birthday treat, and will continue to come, even go for a cheeky little spa treatment in between.
